Working out not only burns fat, it also increases your metabolism.

Fitness Assessment

What are your goals and how long will it take to get you there?

Your trainer will determine how much weight you need to lose and how long it will take you to get there by assessing your body composition, level of strength, endurance, and flexibility.

Programs

You will receive a custom tailored program based on your assessment.

You will receive a printed:

Resistance Training Program telling you what exercises to perform on each day, how to perform each exercise with proper technique, what piece of equipment to use, how much weight to use, how many repetitions to perform, how many sets to complete and how long to rest between each exercise.

Cardiovascular Exercise Program telling you what training heart rate zone to maintain, what piece of equipment to use, how long to use it, and how many workouts to perform each week.

Flexibility Program to improve your posture and relieve any muscle or joint pain you may be experiencing.

Nutrition Plan based on the foods you like to eat so that you never feel hungry or deprived.

 

The Science of Exercise

We are going to get you results using the S.A.I.D principle.

S.A.I.D. stands for specific adaption to implied demand.

Your body becomes stronger by overloading it beyond its current level of adaption.

If your workout is too easy, no overload will occur leaving your body unchanged.

If the overload is too great, your body will begin to breakdown resulting in injury.

When you recovery from your workouts you become stronger.

Your program must be updated every week in order for you to continue to see results.
This is because your body adapts to a workout in as little as one to six exposures, after which no further training effect will occur.
This is called a fitness plateau.
Progressions are updates made to your program causing your body to adapt in new ways.

Increasing the load, sets, repetitions,stability demand, and phase of training are just some of the many possible progressions that your trainer will use to help you avoid injuries resulting from doing the same thing too long (pattern overload), fitness plateaus, and get you to your goal faster.

Phases

There are three phase of training, each designed to progressively transform your body, breaking through fitness plateaus, and so that you can get you to your goal faster!

Phase One:

Muscular-Endurance increases your stamina so that you can take the stairs, walk around the block, or play with your kids without running out of breath.

Phase Two:

Hypertrophy tightens-up those sagging areas of your body including your stomach, love handles, back, arms, thighs, hips and legs so that you can feel more confident and stop looking at yourself in the mirror with disgust.

Phase Three:

Maximum Strength and Definition tones-up your body so you can start seeing definition instead of cellulite.

 

Your job

All you have to do is be consistent.

Without consistent stimulation, physical adaptions to exercise begin to deteriorate in as little as one to four weeks.
This phenomenon is known as de-training effect.

To ensure optimal results, follow the time structure that has been laid out for you in your program.
Complete all your workouts each week and do not go more than one week without exercising.
